Laura Malpas, Vice Chair

Laura was formerly the operations manager and is now volunteering at Canons Ashby, National Trust. She has a background in Archaeology at Durham University, followed by a career in retail, management training and consultancy.

Laura is primarily interested in the development of high quality visitor experiences and great stories at our Northamptonshire heritage sites. A successful heritage journalist, she writes for magazines and blogs for Northamptonshire is Britain’s Best Surprise website covering heritage and other visitor attractions.
