Nene Rivers Trust

The mission of the Nene Rivers Trust CIO is the conservation and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Nene, celebrating its heritage and communities, supporting the resilience of the environment to climate change, conserving and restoring rivers and their tributaries, promoting health and well-being, and educating and reconnecting people with the natural landscape.

The Trust operates with a small multi-disciplinary team working with partners across the river catchment, whilst maintaining a small office in the historical setting of Chester House Estate in Wellingborough and a desk at Fineshades Country Park in the Rockingham Forest area of Corby.
